We want to send a big thank-you to
all who attended and to those that submitted their outstanding displays
helping make AMCAL 2011
one of the most successful meetings in recent years!
Pictured at left is a "freebie table", one of the
favorite past-times at the meetings. Thanks to all the members who
donated matchcovers for this scenario. What you might discard could be
another man's treasure!
We had terrific Meeting space at the Doubletree in Monrovia, room for
all that matchcover collecting needs when we spread out!

Marcia came all the way from Nevada. She is a
regular attendee at AMCALand we were happy to see her back after last
year's absence.
Pictured at left is Doug Fouquet who along with
Tom Meek will be leading the charge next year at the historic Lafayette
Hotel in San Diego!
Onto the more serious aspects of the meeting, the
all important "auctions". These auctions are where you can find that
perfect matchcover you have been looking for, without going crazy on the
price!
Displays also are a very very important part of
the meeting, it shows how creative our members are in putting together
their special collections and gives newbies ideas for their own
collections...plus the public loves them!
